Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms (BLAS)

What is BLAS?

The BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms) are routines that provide standard building blocks for performing basic vector and matrix operations. BLAS includes subprograms that perform scalar, vector, vector-vector operations, matrix-vector operations, and matrix-matrix operations.

The BLAS Homepage and documentation is available at http://www.netlib.org/blas/.

Using BLAS on a C&C Cluster

BLAS is installed on UCR C&C Clusters.  BLAS is installed under /usr/local/pkgs/BLAS.  The BLAS library blas.a is available via soft link from /usr/local/blas.a
